Couple of CAK items added from Sher Scraps
When I think of Mother's Day, I think of roses. I suppose it's because my Mom's name was Rose and she loved the flowers. For a number of years, I gave her new roses to add to her garden. Now, sadly, only one remains - the Queen Elizabeth. Dad isn't a gardener and with Mom gone, her rose bushes died, one by one. The Queen, however, has taken rough treatment but still holds her pink blossoms high every year. It was thinking about roses that led me to put together, Coming Up Roses, an element pack for the Mother's Day CAK:
And, being of Irish descent, Mom always insisted that a good "cuppa" (cup of tea) was good for everything from a cold to heartbreak. Here is a little treat for Moms - tea and French macarons.
